fazer chocolate is one of the best chocolates ever!! I highly recommend getting the mint ones if you ever see them (HB have been known to sell them in the past)
In Sheffield on The Moor today, they had some cute cuddly toys (im sure they were called Swappables?), different packs of 2 toys, and all the body parts changed. There was a pig and a dog, a sheep and a cow, a chicken and a poodle. I know they sound quite gross but they were really sweet! They were £2.99You're so very special, I wish I was special :dance:0 -
mademoiselle wrote: »Well... I got a box of Fazer vodka-cranberry filled chocolates, 150g for 39p:
These are Finnish chocolates, good make. Apparently the vodka used - Finlandia - is pretty good - here's a blurb I found about it:
Unsatisfied by other "fake" liquor chocolates, that have about 2 drops of stuff in them, and pretty much zero alcohol? That's because the alcohol evaporates thru the chocolate. This is why no one has ever gotten drunk from eating liquor chocolates. The alcohol disappears as soon as they leave the factory. Not Fazer Vodka Filled Chocolates. Observe the alcohol-proof crystal candy that insulates the wall lining as some barrier. The inside of these candies look like an earth geode. Chocolate on the outside, candy with the vodka on the inside. The protected vodka NEVER evaporates, and stays in the candy until you bite it open. BEWARE OF IMITATIONS, FAZER VODKA FILLED CHOCOLATES ARE LIKE NO OTHER.
OMG these are so yummy i bought loads at christmas as presents, and i ate a lot of them. It is chocolate on the outside, with a coating of sugar inside, then the vodka.
i put them in the freezer for 10 mins.
saw them the other day, but i just couldn't buy them, i'd eat the lot.0 -

Today, Thorton's 'factory clearance' assorted chocolates, 200g bag for 79p.
I usually get these at the outlet village Thorntons for 1.99 a bag, or on good visits BOGOF so 99p a bag - either way 79p is very good for delicious chocs0 -

Will power, what is that?
There is no will power where chocolate is concerned, it's addictive.0
