    Hello all

    Well not a happy bunny with my HB ..

    yesterday we went in and i bought around 15 cards

    the till assistant packed my bags

    and today i realised when i got home i had not seen the cards anywhere...we searched the car and nothing.
    I went back in today and they all remembered me but there were no cards to be found..

    Hmm thought they would have offered me some more as good CS.

    Don't know what else i could have done.

    mrsproudmum a similar thing happened to me last year. Bought some packets of seeds but nowhere to be found when I got home. Packed my own bag but small things like that can easily get lost in all the carrier bags etc at the end of the conveyor belt on the till. No doubt the next customer after you got an unexpected bonus with their shopping ! Annoying though.

    Bertolli Focaccia Crackers 49p per box dead by date - 17/10/08
    Each box has a 50p coupon in it, that's valid until 31/8/08

    I was happy to accept their 1p to take a pack (or three) away, especially as I like them ;-)

    Visited Home Bargains in Burton-on-Trent today, and to my delight they had more of the Wolf Blass green label cabernet shiraz in stock at £2.99. If anyone sees it, buy it, its lush. It comes in plastic bottles, yes I know what you are going to say, but I used to say you couldnt have wine with a twist off top. Cheers. Also got the NU scrunching spritz (£8.99) for 99p. Haven't tried it yet, well not the hair product, have tried the wine!

    Sheffield Hillsborough today had;

    Various leapster games (incredibles and Thomas the tank engine ones are the only ones I can remember) - £1.99

    Lots of different kinds of reduced sugar sweets. Wine gums type for 10p - 15p a bag. Maynards reduced sugar wine gums for 49p a bag too. Great to keep in the car for traffic jams

    Had a few bottles of the Wolf Blass Shiraz there as well. :beer:

    In Colwyn Bay yesterday there was a boxed set of books about the Beatles (one book for each) with an RRP of £39.99 but selling for £1.99. I'm not sure that many people would have paid £39.99 (they probably wouldn't have ended up in HB otherwise) but at £1.99 this might make a nice present for a Beatles loving dad on fathers day.

    The strange thing is that the Ringo book looks to be twice as thick as the John Lennon one so perhaps the author is concentrating on the Thomas The Tank Engine years?
    The fridge is empty, the walls are damp, there's no hot water
