I bought some great electronic kitchen scales last week "Satin Finish Digital Scales" £7.99 rrp £20. They've got a glass top and you can put a plate on them then "zero" them, measure in pounds/ounces and kilograms/grams upto 5kg's.

Yes, these are a good buy!

To anyone who's interested the ones I got (HB cramlington) were recently seen in argos for £18.78 (with the name 'Kenwood' emblazened on the front:confused: ) Link/photo:

The generic dishwasher tablets - 24 for 99p seem to be pretty effective, heck of a lot cheaper than the big stores own brand tablets.

These cheap "clean and fresh" brand tablets seem to clean better than the expensive fairy ones. If you haven't already tried them then give them a try.

Morley branch had the Rio spray tan system at £14.99. RRP £59.99
Love the TimTams 29p but on diet so I had to stop myself.
Shape water 19p each think they are 1 litre.
Tubes of 20 Lindt mini eggs 99p.
Got some of the bunny ears 49p each as booby prizes for an easter competition.

LOL! Me and the missus have seen people coming out of HB with nothing! When we do we always say words to the effect of ''how the hell do you go into HB, walk round, see all the mega cheap items and come out with NOTHING?''

    Totally baffling!!!

    Dom

They probably go in there everyday like I do and got their bargains the day before you saw them.

    :)

I have those scales, have had them around 10 months and they are fab, bargain for £7.99.

Been to Rugeley today they had the Rio fake tan sets too at £15.99.

Pack of 12 for the price of 8 Bounty kitchen towels for £2.99. They also had a pack of 12 for £3.29, so pick the one you have carefully.

Lillets Super Plus Extra 28 pack - £1.99
These are £1.64 for 14 in Tesco, so usually £3.28 for 28 (although £2.50 on multibuy at the moment it would seem)

Went in for car wash kit at £5ish, they didn't have it, but managed to spend over £16

As someone said... how on earth do people come out of there empty handed?

They have quite a lot of cheap easter stuff at the moment (obviously), but I found the Lindt mini eggs (50g) at 39p to be a really good buy.

Kaos, they don't come out empty handed ever, it just doesn't happen, it is impossible.
    Loving the dtd thread. x
