Sacla Italian sauces today (Wavertree road ,Liverpool) 39p each ,top bargain as these retail for around £2 .50 .
Also loads of Lewis Hamilton books @99pMoneysaving? - I cant stop spending because of this site!0 -
99p .......... I bought this at full price £18.99 at xmastime. I overheard staff at HB saying local Tesco's are not happy but as she said, they pay the same to buy them in so it shows what an extortionate mark up Tesco charge, though I find it unbelievable HB they are actually making a profit on selling for 99pence :money:

Exactly.
I 'pop' in every other day or so. I know I shouldn't be going in there as I am trying to stick to a budget but it is one of those places that get new stock on their shelves every other day. Whenever I go in there are always 6ft trolley/baskets full of stock to be put out. I think I have 4 xmas prezzies so far from there, all at daft prices.
Some of the prices that they charge are daft. I bought a DVD game The Mummy which was about £24 in Woolies for £2.99, we will be paying that for a flippin loaf soon!0 -

hi cookie
I know, I totally agree. I went in last week for the lewis hamilton book and spent £7:eek: . This is not a lot for me, as I usually spend about £15 on every visit, but I get alot of our pressie for people from there and these would cost at least twice as much else where. :money:
It makes it alot easier, as we share tips on here and then I know exactly what I am looking for :T'If you judge people, you have no time to love them'
