Is anyone else having problems with sendit?

I have 4 DVDs on order, one of them for three weeks (it was supposed to be a Mothers Day gift) and when I bought the DVDs they all showed in stock and I got a mail to say that the DVDs would arrive in 7-10 days. Then suddenly without warning the order status changed to 'out of stock, no expected date of arrival available'.

I''m beginning to think they are running some sort of scam to get themselves at the top of the pricerunner or other shopping comparison sites. In each of the cases I searched for the best price and in each case Sendit came out top and as they showed that stock was availlable placed an order. Until this morning I never even had an e mail from them to say my DVD weren't going to arrive as expected, I only found out because I checked my orders online as I thought they were lost in the post.

My DVDs are even a mix of old and new titles, one was only released last December.

I know I can cancel but it is making me angry that Sendit continually show as the best prices when you do a search on the shopping comparison sites, yet can't supply the titles.

I have never had a problem with Sendit, have always had a e-mail if they have a dispatch delay.I even had an email the other day from them saying they wouldn't send me one of the DVDs I'd ordered as it arrived to them damaged and they would re-order for me.

Their customer service dept have always been polite and courteous to me if I have had a query and very quick with their responses.

I personally would rate Sendit (but hey that is just my opinion!!:))

I ordered a DVD from them, and despite the fact that I live 2 miles from their office, it took a week to arrive, since they ship from Jersey. Nice one.
