Blocking a company from your card

How do I stop a company from keep taking money from my credit card, my good are paid for yet they have taken another two payments today from card. I have a prepaid card and unfortunately had money on it to pay another bill, now don't have the money for that. Company is Coopers of Stortford, been a nightmare, they took money for goods but I had to threaten them with legal action, and this site before they sent the goods and now they see to want me to pay again.....what can I do?

You must have signed for a continuous authority, have a look at the small print in the order that you placed, What were or are the terms. Having never used a pre paid card, I can see why it would be a big problem. Not sure what can be done though.

Contact the supplier by some means - the more traceable the better, i.e. in this order of preference:
1) recorded delivery letter
2) fax (your phone bill can prove that a fax was sent)
3) email with received and read receipts requested (you may not get them though)

to withdraw the authority to use your card account.

Once they have received that instruction, if they continue to charge your account, take it up with the card issuer because the transactions are clearly without your authority.
