I bought 2 tins of this for my lot and didn't even NOTICE the stars in the name!
My daughter saw them in the fridge and was suitably mortified, insisting she wasn't going to EVER be drinking from a can with such a name. My son was MUCH more impressed and asked if he could take it to school :rotfl:.

So odd. I blame Mrs Slocombe for taking an innocent word and turning it all smutty :D

Lol I was  when a friend text to say he was drinking juicy !!!!! til he told me it was a drink :D

Who cares though it is only a word which is the alternative name for a cat, those who get offended are just pathetic really.

Oh..it beeped that out. It's an offensive word used to describe a traveller, if anyone was interested!

Sorry, but it's ridiculous. It wasn't an offensive word until Tesco decided to star out the middle three letter and make something out of nothing.

Would anyone really have looked at this can and been offended?

  • I think this software knows more about naughty words than I do and so I learn from it. For example I own two cats. Often when I pick one up I might say something like, "How's my !!!!! cat then". I didn't know I was being crude.
It's not my fault your honour, they made me do it.
  • Actually it would me more interesting to hear from the programmer. Maybe he knows other words I have to avoid using.

Blanking out descriptions of cute little pussy cats just makes MSE look foolish.

The name is supposed to shock and stand out. I can see some people might be offended by it.

And it obviously works. Top marks to the advertising agency for an effective, if lazy, marketing campaign.

"OMG, how controversial and shocking! *yawn*"
