Having ended up 1 stone lighter than I was before pregnancy, I got fed up of all my old jeans being too baggy and having my pants on display (!), so bought myself a new pair.
Tried them on in the shop (Next), and they fitted really nicely. After just 3 days of wearing them, they have stretched ridiculously, and now look like baggy pants that gape around the waist! Grrrrrrrrrrrr.
Am I entitled to take them back to exchange them for a smaller size?
I expect jeans to give a bit after wearing, but these have some stretch in them, so I didn't expect them to go so baggy!

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

I agree with the person above - try washing them. They will likely shrink back. If you are like me they will then be too tight for a day before becoming comfortable again!0

They're about the 8th pair of Next jeans I've had, and they were just TOO stretched. Washing them would've shrunk them back, but only for a day, and they were more annoying than comfortable, as the slipped down too much when I walked!
Anyhoo, I took them back today, and Next were brilliant, agreed they'd gone too baggy, and swapped them for the smaller size which are now snug, but in a few hours will be a little roomier!
Excellent customer service.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')

Its great. You feel bloated first thing in the morning but miraculously by lunch time you've managed to lose a few lbs
Seriously though, I seem to recall a few threads regarding Next jeans going baggy extremely fast You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0

If they have stretch in them, that's what will happen.
I can only wear my jeans with stretch in them for 1 day. Any longer and my backside looks like it's behind my knees and the waistband gets bigger and bigger.
It's not a fault with them, it's just the materials and they're fine again once washed and dried again.
It's happened to me with stretch jeans all my life, well, since I was a teenager!
You could have washed them before returning though if you'd had them on for 3 days :cool:Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0

I've ALWAYS worn stretch jeans (little waist, curvy ar*e - they fit better!), so am quite au fait with them stretching.
There is a normal level of stretch, where they go a bit baggy around the knees/bum etc... but we're not talking a little bit baggy here, we're talking ridiculously baggy to the point where they slipped down when walking, and I could feel the crotch about 3" lower than it should have been!
I guess they weren't "faulty" as such, but perhaps an inferior material, not worthy of the £28 price tag.
Have been wearing the size 8s for a whole day now, and only minimal stretch, so they're perfect!
(couldn't be bothered to wash them before returning! I have better things to do with my limited time than put on unnecessary loads of washing!).Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')

Breastfeeding for 1 year! The lbs dropped off and I ended up 1 stone lighter than I was originally! It burns 500 calories a day, and I'm too busy to eat the extra calories sometimes!
I'd rather be a size 10, as being 8.5 stone and 5'11" and thus a size 8 makes me look scrawny!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')

Dammit, wish I could somehow develop the ability to breastfeed, could do with losing an extra 500 calories a day.
I blame it on the Haribo...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands
