Childcare Vouchers - expiry?

Hi,
My daughter has just turned 3 and will be entitled to some free hours at nursery from January.
Me and my husband are currently getting the maximum amount of vouchers, but this will be too much from January.
If we continue to get the full allowance, can we build them up in the account, then use them when she gets to school for after school clubs etc?

Thanks.

  • Yes - I did exactly that and am using them for before and after school clubs now. You can also get a refund of un-used vouchers at any time - they just credit them back onto your pay and you pay the tax on them.
