Hi Everyone.
I have £25000 to invest in savings,tax free if possible.I am prepared to tie in for five year max and was looking at Inflation Linked Bonds.
I would appreciate your views or maybe advise.

If you have not opened a cash ISA you could invest the maximum £5430 for this year- Halifax offer 4.4% for five years but of course inflation is currently running at 5%+(although The Governor assures us that inflation will come down sharply.......).
I suppose you could consider the Close Brothers offering as a halfway house..."Close Brothers Savings has launched the latest in their Premium Gold savings products. This is a 2 year fixed term fixed rate deposit account, paying interest at 4.25% AER. More details and an application form available at http://www.closesavings.co.uk/." Again not tax free!0
