Court Proceedings Ltd

I got a ticket from UKCPS about a month or so ago, but after reading the advice on this forum I just ignored it. Same happened when I received a following letter telling me I could pay now and save money.

Today I have received a letter from "Court Proceedings Ltd" which tells me my debt has now gone up to £325 to allow for court documents, etc.

I did a Google search on UKCPS and it tells people NOT to take any notice of the advice on sites such as "moneysavingexpert" as they do take court action and then it lists some recent cases in which they won.

My head tells me to just ignore this latest communication but the little yellow cowardy bit of me thinks "oh hell, what if they DO take me to court".

Help!!! A bit of advice would be very much appreciated.

Thankyou :)

Court proceedings Ltd do not have a CCA licence, which points to two things, either they are acting illegally or they are the same as UKCPS therefore collecting their own debts.;)

I have the exact same letters here in my drawer from last year, even the same amounts, I am still waiting for my day in court!

UKCPS do try it on in court but usually under the pretence of protecting disabled bays, don't know how paying money to them is protecting spaces for the disabled?

Their office manager monitors this and other forums looking for posts that mention his company. He then if he can put two and two together may have a punt so be careful of what you post! Rather a sad life really.
