Problem getting money back for goods not received.

I ordered some display items online on 25th October and paid by debit card, I ordered them from the company concerned as they said they had fast delivery of 2-3 days and I needed the items for 13th November. On 4th November I emailed them asking if they could give me an idea on when I would receive my goods and got no reply. On 7th Nov, I tried ringing them but got an answerphone, I left a message with my details etc. and still got no reply. I emailed again, explained that I was getting worried as my deadline was approaching and told them I was thinking of cancelling my order, I almost immediately got a one line reply back saying " sorry for the delay, we will have to ring courier and email you back" I have received no further communications despite a further 3 attempts to contact them and a request for a refund
What can I do to make them give me my money back? I feel like they have totally ripped me off, I have had no goods and shameful customer service and I had to order from somewhere else to meet my deadline, so it's cost me twice.
I would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

You can use the Visa Chargeback scheme if the goods haven't arrived and were paid for by Visa Debit card. You need to contact the Debit Card division and raise a claim as soon as possible as I think you only have 60 days in which to do so, not like Credit Card Section 75 protection which is much longer. You should get a full refund if you have a Visa Debit Card and use Chargeback.0
