Are We Best?

My husband has fixed summer holiday's and it's the first two week's of august and the dearest,we normally go into a travel agent's and book are we best going to all the travel agent's tell them what i want and see which come back with the best price.We have a single traveller with us and have tried the internet but they keep putting us in one apartment and we want hotel room's,anybody got any advice...thank's

We normally do the trawlling on the interent and then go into local travel agent, drop the printout on the desk adn say "can you match that". When they Um and ah pick up the printouts and head for the door. Done this six time and only got to the door once (next agents didnt even bat an eye, just said We'll match any price you can prove)

As far as beign put into an appartment, surely this is due to what you are looking at. if you price a hotel, surely you'll get hotel room prices. If a problme try pricing single travller separate from you.
