Cheap No-Contract Landline

Hi All,
Basically my broadband deals expires in 6 months, but my current landline contract has just expired.
In an effort to get these utilities in sync, I am looking for a homephone package for six months, the best I've found is Tesco which is £11.75.
Is anyone aware of a better deal (or possibly a better idea)
Thanks,
Ollie

Post Office Home Phone does monthly contracts.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

Your contract has not/will not expire unless you contact your supplier and ask them to terminate it. You may have had a minimum term commitment, but once this has been reached, your contract continues with a standard notice period.
Therefore, if you do not change, the likeleyhood is that you will be able to terminate any of your contracts with 30 days notice. Any NEW contract, will re-impose the a minimum term.0
