best rewards for a one off spend of £9k

I have to pay a £9k dentist bill in a couple of weeks time. I have the money in my bank account and normally I put this on my tesco credit card to get the reward points, and then pay it off immediately. Is this getting me the best reward, or should I maybe look at taking out a cash back card?

You might struggle to get accepted for a new card and get the card and the pin within 2weeks.

Even if you get a new card then it might not have a sufficent limit to put all the purchase on there.

You could try applying for one and see how you get on. But if you use reward points anyway, and especially on the best deals you might struggle to beat them value wise.
