  • Hi

I was part of a 'pay all your debts..' challenge but it all seems a bit too initimidating trying to pay off everything so I am going to focus on one area of debt... my credit card.
I had £1000 to pay off at the start of the year and I have so far paid £100 so could you please put me down :)

    Thanks! Good luck everyone!!!

Concentrating on one debt at a time is definitely working for me at the moment. I'm like you, looking at the whole picture just makes me want to run off screaming in the opposite direction :rotfl:

    Good Luck x

    Good Morning :)

No PAD for me this morning as the bank account is all nice and tidy with it being the weekend. Hoping for one or two next week though.

So my debt still looks like this

    Hi All
I have had a hectic week with the kids off school:mad: LOL
I have updated balances and added newbies as well. I have just bought some clear pencil cases from the well know auction site. I have decided that I am going to stick to our budget to the penny next month and am going to have a pencil case for separate expenses such as food, petrol, school dinners. I am hoping this will help me to have more power over our spending habits instead of just using the debit card all the time and not really knowing how much money we are spending and what we are spending it on!! Fingers Crossed;)

I have to say I totally agree with paying all your debt, for me, is too daunting. Maybe my last debt I can do that challenge LOL. I am still owing too much to be thinking about those type of challenges so this one for me is perfect. One at a time is the bext approach. I've tried paying them all equal %'s before and it's just doesn't work. Once this one is gone I will move onto the next and conquer them all!!!

Pay day Friday so I will may my last payment from this month on Thursday so it's neat and tidy for Friday. I will be sub 3k and I can't wait!!!
    Debt - CCV £3792
CCB £1383 (took a hit for a holiday)

    Loan 1 £1787
    Loan 2 £1683
