See if you can get into safe mode by holding down F8 at bootup. If you can, try start, run, chkdsk c: /F/R then reboot.
If you have any extra kit plugged in, printers etc.. disconnect them.
If you get it working, see this thread..

If you can boot into Safe Mode, right-click My Computer - Properties - Advanced tab. Click Settings under Startup and
Recovery and untick 'Automatically restart'. The next time the computer starts the blue screen will stay on the screen. Post all the details in this thread.0 -
This is what the blue screen says....
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer
BAD_POOL_CALLER
if this is the first time you have seen this stop error screen, restart you computer. if this screen appears again follow these steps:
check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.
If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or softwear. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select advanced start up options, and then selct safe mode.
