After breaking my Blackberry screen in July, I had a new screen fitted in October and has worked properly until now, 6 weeks later! The guy warned me of backstreet shops trying to fit replica Blackberry screens, causing incompatibilities later on and thus leading to a black screen, requiring a genuine Blackberry screen to be fitted.
Anyway, I paid £70 on my credit card to have a genuine Blackberry screen fitted there and then and now the screen has gone black (not a software issue, I've updated/restored software) and could be due to an incompatible screen. (The phone starts up and the backlight comes on but the screen is switched on yet blank).
He asked me whilst in the repair shop told me to make a phone call and check its function as he wasn't going to accept any liability for the phone not working once I leave the shop.
But now 2 months later, I've got a working phone with a dead screen... What can I do about this? As he did say to check it worked before I left the shop, but less than 2 months down the line, it's not working due to a suspected incompatible screen so surely the shop must accept some responsibility?
And to add to this, I can't find the card transaction receipt I got from the shop, but I do have a credit card statement with the transaction on. Will this be enough?

The repair place must offer some sort of guarantee, take it back along with your credit card statement.0

            Thanks
I'm just thinking along the lines of them trying to fob me off with a "we said before you left the store that we won't be responsible for anything that happens to your phone with the new screen". I know they can't really do that, but I'm one of those people who doesn't like to cause a fuss lol.
