Has anyone had any dealings with the company AnswerIT Group?
As a foolish and nieve new business owner I fell for their sales patter back in July! I am trying to stop my marketing campaign. They apologised about me not being happy and convinced me to run my campaign over another couple of months paying less than the original payment.
The marketing was around having a Facebook ad which would lead to loads of business! The "impressions" report they send me shows that my ad has been seen by 1000s but my own Google analytics doesn't show any FB links to my website and no one I know has seen my ad. Aparently I am also supposed to have been added to Bing, but I can't see anything in the searches apart from one ad that I know I did.
I know I have been scammed and am well on the way to having paid them somewhere around £500 . I am going to my bank tomorrow to make sure that no more payments are sent out.
I haven't signed any contract with them and they have only sent me a link to my T&Cs so if they decide that they want to chase me for anymore payments I'll let them take me to court.

Have you seen this? You need to tab down to Walker&cyclist's entry.
Googling a company and directors' names, using WHOIS is always advisable before committing to something.

Thanks for that link. Being new to business and green I beleived what I was told. It's interesting that they have been refunding money so I will try that route.0

I really hope that you do get your money back. There have been many similar cases reported on MSE.
Many people would never deal with a company that approached them. Remember that the 'reviews' and 'testimonials' found online are often worthless.
