work shadowing for 2 days- Help!

Not sure if this is the correct place but, what sort of area should an A-level student studying Maths, Physics, Technology and History and doesn't have an idea what he would like to do, look in for 2 days of work shadowing? It is very urgent as letters should be sent out to companies by the end of January! Help much appreciated! One idea was accountancy but is this confidential?, e.g. would the student not be able to see all the figures and clients etc?
