Credit Card Query

Hi there,

I signed up to seek advice .

I'm looking to build credit basically. Could anyone advise one suitable credit card? I'm new to all to all this so help would be much appreciated.

Something interest free for a fair period etc..? Such thing?

we would need more info about you and your credit history?
how old are you? are you in permanent full time work? approx salary?
have you ever had any credit before? how was it run? any missed payments defaults, ccjs etc?
do you have a mobile phone contract? current account?

Still in my teens. This would make it harder I assume? No past credit though. Full time employment with £12k annual. Recently tried getting a small loan and with times being hard it was unsuccessful so just looking to build credit! Haha.

You could possibly try your own bank to see if you are eligible for a card with them. If not you'll need to look at subprime lenders - information on this link - 'Bad Credit' Credit Cards:
As well as helping people with poor credit history they can be useful for people with no credit history.

These have very high interest rates so don't keep a balance on them or use them to buy things you can't pay off the following month, just use them for 1 or 2 things a month and pay each month in full after the statement comes so that you start to build up a good credit history.
