Attendance Allowance and Mobility

Hi, sorry to ask what may be a silly question but is there any way you can get a mobility car with Attendance Allowance? I am a carer for my elderly parents, one receives high rate attendance allowance and one low rate, and also a carer for my daughter who gets high rate care DLA and low rate mobility DLA. Our car isnt big enough for everyone to fit in and its harder for my parents to go out on public transport now so wondered if there was any eay we can get help to get a new bigger car for everyone to fit in (6 seater+)?
Thanks in advance
Sarah

Short answer is no.
Long answer is if your father did any time in the military there are various charities who may help if he or his wife have mobility problems. (won't help if your child has them though). Royal British legion is one of them I think.0 -
With those benefits no as you need high rate mobility but you can of course use the benefits to pay for a car privately. I've just spent a lot of time doing calculations based on my circumstances and there was little difference in cost between motability and buying a car. I plumped for buying myself.0

We each get AA, that's DH and me, and one of the things we use it for is to keep our car on the road, all the car expenses. We'd be up the proverbial without a paddle if we didn't have our car.Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.
Before I found wisdom, I became old.0
