if you want aveeno cream - it's quite easy to get it! just pop to see your gp and they give it on prescription - big bottle - like 250 ml or even 500 ml - and it's free for kids!!! i've been doing it for 2 years now but you need to tell them it's available on prescription as my gp didn't know that.

These samples are currently out of stock, but when they do get more in-i do recommend this. I have tried the sample, and it's gorgeous! smells lovely, and does help with dry skin (i have eczema so few things actualy help).

Just want to say that this is a good idea if you get free prescriptions-but if you have to pay, its not worth asking for this. I have been given a different kind of moistouriser on prescription which works even better (and is a big bottle with a pump on top to dispense the correct amount). Also dont just do to your doctor asking for this, hoping to get a freebie- only do it if you genuinely have a skin problem such as eczema (not saying anyone on here would do this though, just a warning). I hate people who waste doctors time (there are people out there who think its ok to make up things and try to get stuff for nothing).

My son is using Aqueous cream at the moment and it is not helping at all. He has only recently started getting eczema and in last few days he is covered in it except his face and feet. I don't want to waste money on creams that don't work that Is why I am hoping to get a few samples to see what really helps.

I have had to keep going back to my doctors and see a dermatologist with my skin problems, doctors need a push sometimes to let you try other products untill you find something that actually works. I'd go back to your doctor with you son, and tell him/her the aqueous cream is not working and you need something else to try. How old did you say your son is? I feel for children with skin conditions, as ive seen how upset my little niece gets over her eczema (shes two now)-and its difficult to stop them scratching/itching. I find it hard myself not to lately! :o

I also wouldnt want to be wasting money trying different creams that dont work, i made the mistake of buying things myself in the past, where i could have got them cheaper on prescription for a massive bottle.

Good luck, i realy hope its something he'll grow out of (many children do) or at least hope it'll improve.
