Will I go back onto housing benefit?

Hi
I just wondered if anyone could help as I'm a bit confused!!
I am a single mum. I work part time (18.5hpw) and earn £12,500pa. I don't qualify for any other benefits apart from CTC, WTC and Child Benefit.
Last year I just earned £4000 for the whole year so my tax credits are based on that. (I only started work in Feb 2011). I just did a tax credit calculation and some research on their system as if I had earned my full £12,500 last year... and it calculated that next year I won't be entitled to any WTC but will go onto housing benefit and I'd be entitled to free school lunches?? Is this correct? It seems strange that I can earn a lot more than last year but be on Housing Benefit when I don't even qualify for that now!
Am I doing something wrong? It calculates that all together I'd be on about the same as I am now... but just seems odd that it's paid in HB and not WTC. (I just hope my landlord doesn't find out as he doesn't allow benefits!)
Thanks for any help anyone can offer!
Sue
