What Have You Spent Today 28/1/07 & New Weekly Budget Challenge

We're still working on our budgets - looking at spending etc. so not quite ready to set a target yet, however I have £5.90 in my purse and determined not to get any cash out this week. Last week spend c.£10 and £7 of that was dinner in ikea so I think I did pretty well for me.
Onto today:
Going to out of town shopping centre later with the view to:
"spend" boots vouchers I have - however I have £4 on a gift card I got for a complaint about miss labelling and rude staff last year (spent the other £6 ages ago) so hopefully won't spend any cash and will be able to get another bit of plastic out my purse.
Avoiding the other shops as I don't need anything (I keep trying to tell myself that and hope it'll sink in - with tesco clothing vouchers to spend later in week that might help
)
Pop to sainsburys to top up on a few things tescos don't sell and a few things on offer and to get petrol.
Might go in the range for some craft bits too as I need a few things for my card making but will see how the times going/ how good I've been elsewhere

Hi everyone, was well within budget this week. Budget was £30 and spent £19.20. I'll stick to £30 again, just to be on the safe side.0

Last week I only spent £12.04 so under budget again :j
I have £25.76 in my purse and would normally set that as my budget but I want to reserve £20 for a "big shop" next weekend so my challenge target is £5.76.
Will need to have lots of NSDs like today.0 -

Do you guys keep a full record of what you spend on as well as how much you're spending? All hints gratefully received
Yes a lot of us keep a spending diary, whether than be a spreadsheet on our pc's, a notebook or a sheet of paper every week in the handbag. But we write down everything that we buy, be it a newspaper, packet of chewing gum or a new pair of shoes! Then you can look back and really see where your money is going week on week.

next week i'm setting a budget of £20, since i bought food yesterday i shouldnt need to spend all of this. however the nsd i promised to have today will have to wait as i realised i forgot to pick up lasagne sheets doh! so i'm taking a quick nip into town, gonna pick up a few bits i'm also needing today so i can have more nsd's this week.
good thing i don't need to buy food! done the boots tarting thing today and am very very happy with what i've come away with!

was gonna try the 6 4 1 thing but there wasn't 6 suncare things i need, to be honest i don't strictly 'need' the items i did buy, but if i do get away in october then they'll be handy.

Hello all,
My budget last week was £25.00p and I spent £16.53p so am pleased with that. I am going to stick with £25.00 for my spending budget next week. Today I spent £3.21p on a few bits from tesco.

Spent today : nothing.
My budget up until next sunday is £70. Of that, £25 will be spent getting to/from work. £35 budget for going out for a friends birthday. That leaves a tenner for lunch and drinks. I expect to be under this since I am eating Crunchy Nut Cornflakes for lunch, and I bought two 750g boxes last week and have only had two bowls since. They will last me all this week and next hopefully.0
