Re-moulding Deodorant Sticks?

I've tried moulding it into another tube but the fragments don't want to cohere. Warming? Microwave?
I know it sounds just stingy but when a stick is about 5cm long and the last cm can't be used ......
Thanks in advance, if I don't get to thank you personally, for any advice.

Sorry, can't help on this one, but I have to say that I have always wondered that too.
I for one don't think that you are stingy, you've paid for it, you might as well get to use it!!
Any ideas anyone??0 -
I don't know if this would work, but my father was fanatical about remoulding soap. He'd put all the bits in a sink of hot water and squidge them together by hand; you could try that, then squash them back into the holder. Funny that I can remember that but never any new bars in a pristine condition!Touch my food ... Feel my fork!0
