Where cheapest to buy parts for my car

Hi Folks

I am thinking of servicing my 2002 Mark 4 ford fiesta myself. Can you suggest any websites where I can buy the following for a reasonable price -

Engine Oil
Spark Plugs
Air Filter
Oil Filter

5 litres of engine oil isn't going to be light so you're going to pay a few quid in postage. Have you got a local motor factors shop where you are?

If I were you I'd be putting a non brandname oil 15/40 oil in it.

In my experience you won't find that much diff on the spark plugs & filters unless you compare with Halfords (expensive),

If you said where you were, you might get someone with some local knowledge.

Just bought a load of bosch stuff mysen, including a bosch silver battery S5 for £75, £130 in Halfords!

For an oil change I get national tyres & auto to do it for me, 6l of Castrol Mag fully synthetic plus oil filter for £36. You'll do well to get 6l of that stuff anywhere for £36, plus you get the filter and somebody else does this rotten job for you!

£58 for a service kit for my mondeo when I get Bosch parts for half the price at eurocarparts!

Yep I have just had two cars done one with edge and the other magnatec for a similar price, there was a 10% discount voucher recently.

I use a local motor factors for "top up" oil at same spec but probably half the price.

Worth trying for air filter, plugs and the common stuff too. If you know exactly what you want ebay has some good stuff too, wipers, air filters even branded brake pads:eek:.

local car shop will be almost as cheap as the online prices, Add postage on and they should be cheaper.

Also a lot cheaper if they give you the wrong part.

Sending a part back because it doesnt fit, Will cost you more and possibly leave you without a car for several
days.
