readings

Could somebody please help with understanding my meter reading.I am with npower the previous meter reading was 69195 the present meter reading is 70857 it says my charges for this quarter is £169.33 .Does this sound about right there does not seem to be much between previous figures and present figures to come to £169.

    you need to check and see what price/kw your being charged and also if there is a standing charge.As youve used 1662 units multiply that with cost per unit and then standing charge if you have one

    You are paying an average of roughly 10p/kWh.

    Prices vary a great deal across the country, but it looks to be about right.

    :D carlos700, have I a vision defect, or have you omitted to tell us if your re taling electricty or gas? I agree that for elec 10p/unit seems OK.
