Paypal - funds pending but shop have cancelled my order

I bought something through The Hut and paid by paypal last week. Yesterday they cancelled my order as they have no stock left.

My payment to them is still pending though paypal. How do I get these funds back? I have emailed the hut to ask for them to cancel the request but they say they can't and I have to ask paypal.

Is this right and if so how do I ask Payal as I can't file a claim as the order has not completed.

Log into your paypal account and find the transaction. Click view details, there should be an option there to cancel the payment if it is actually pending.

Why is the payment pending after so long ?

Thanks sequence however there is no option on the view the transaction page to cancel the payment.

I guess the payment pends till they send the goods, as they are unable to it's still pending.

So back to my question, how to I free the payment from pending?

No it will be pending until they accept the payment, if they dont accept the payment in a certain amount of days ( not sure how many) the payment will be cancelled and back into your account.
