Credit Card PPI

Options
Please could someone kindly explain how I find the information to make PPI complaints. I no longer have any paper work for the credit card companies nor do I know any account numbers to put on letters to request paper work? How do I get round this?

  • If you have no account numbers it's unlikely you'll be able to get any account information, I'd try popping in to your local branch and see if they can help, surely they could find your account information by your name, date of birth, address and post code, you might get refused tho as there's always the data protection BS but if you have photo ID there shouldn't be a problem.
  • Hi

    Thank you.

My credit cards were with Mint (RBS Cards), MBNA Europe Bank Ltd, Viil - Experto Credite Ltd (whoever they may be) and Egg.

I recently got in touch with Egg who say they don't have my original account details and another company had taken over, does anyone know whether this is true?

Could I write to these companies with my full name, date of birth, address and the date I applied for the credit cards and the date they were settled?

I would really be grateful for some advice as I'm finding all this very confusing!
