It must be remembered that regular readers of this forum will have more financial knowledge than most (I have learnt a lot since being here) but there are many more people who have no background eg some first time posters here, and they are THE target market for the banks, when people naively think they must be the ones who know about money.
So it's a good thing that this message is hammered home again and again until it becomes the accepted norm that banks are not our friends.0 -

Well, they are not really giving advise, they are selling product ...
e.g their own group shares or affiliate ...This is the discussion thread for the following MSE News Story:

Totally agree. Keep hammering home that msg MSE. Not everyone knows that banks give poor advice and the more often it's said the better for evryone imao.0
