What to do with: free CDs/DVDs

  • hi there,
I am a card maker and tend to use free unwanted CDs on the front of cards! Just add some stickers, a message and something inside and you have a funky, shiny card - usually good with teens with a music theme.
If you know anyone who does this they may appreciate them or any local art and craft groups!

  • My daughter (16) recently redecorated her room by using free cd's as a border at 'dado rail' height around her room. It looks very effective. She stuck them up with blu-tack or similar with the printed side towards the wall, leaving the shiny play side out. She plans to put one behind each drawer knob on her chest of drawers when we have enough. They are easy to break/cut in half for the room corners.
