IVA Delay in complation certificate - help??
Hello
My husband and I had a joint IVA agreed in July 2010.
It was a lump sum plus 10 additional payments which ended in APril 2011.
All good so far but no 7 months on there is still no complation certifictae. Apparently due to the VAT hassles.
Our company are RSM tenon who have been great up until this point, we were not informed of the delay and it was only after several phone calls the first few promising the certificate by end of July initially and then end of October that we were informed of the VAT issue.
Is there anything we can do? We really want to sell the house but can't until land registerey has been infmed of the completion etc.
Does anyone have a better idea of teh timescales of the court cases etc?
Thanks

It's a game of wait and see I am afraid. A few weeks back TRenon did take advice and, after stopping closing cases, started again. However, for some reason they have stopped again !!! Even though many firms are continuing to close. I think they are waiting on some definitive guidance from HMRC ... so could take a while !0
