Parcel Force 48Hrs....More like 48 days!

Options
Hello All

As I have previously posted on the eBay board I sent a parcel using Parcelforce 48 on Monday 15th Jan 2007. The Parcelforce man comes to collect the parcel along with the print off I got from the Parcelforce website, of which he WAS supposed to attach a 'document included' sticker on the parcel.

The online tracking shows NOTHING on the shipment, the buyer has not got the parcel.

I have rang up my local depot THREE times and have been told that they reckon the label was never attached by the driver or it 'feel off' - I rang Wednesday and Friday this week and was told they would look for my parcel (asked for a description of the shipment) in the depot and ring me back - well they haven't and i am angry.

The contents are worth £100. I should not have to put up with this. I feel bad for my ebayer whos still waiting for her parcel.

What action should i take against Parcelforce. Any advice is welcomed. Thanks

Print off the pdf, here complete the form & then send it to:-

Parcelforce Worldwide Claims Centre, PO Box 491, Wakefield, WF1 9AP.

Unfortunately, from personal experience, you may find it takes them a few weeks to get your money.

What Is the best thing to do, file a claim or phone tomorrow to see If they have my parcel in the depo.

I won the item on a competition and sold it on ebay, it is worth £99 but i sold it for £50. I assume the parcel is insured upto £150.

Also, evidence of how much the contents are worth - whats the best thing to do for providing evidence of the value

Please Help I really want to get this sorted today,

What is the best thing to do

    1) Keep on phoning the depot asking them to look for my parcel (although they never have phoned back) - keep my ebayer waiting for the 2nd week, risk messing up delivery again and loosing my £22 I paid first time to parcel force.

    2) Refund the money to the ebayer, then file a claim?
  • What evidence can i attach for my claim??

I want to get it posted tomorrow

How did you buy the service? If it was on-line, have you still got the confirmation? & Did you have to declare the contents? Have you still got the ebay sale confirmation - that'd work for me?
