Hi all
has anyone come across Sainsburys Energy who are involved with British Gas ?
My partner and I were stopped on our into our local supermarket by a Sainsburys employee who offered a deal whereby our gas and electricity costs would be fixed until 2014. It would cost a few pounds more than we are paying now so no immediate reduction but does this sound a worthwhile deal.

I wouldn't bet on it. Check carefully what the individual fuel rates and standing charges are compared to what you are paying at present.

Why buy via a rep on commission when you can check for yourself via a comp site in minutes and keep any commission for yourself by signing up via a cashback site?
Any price fix to 2014 is going to cost you much more than a 'few pounds' extra now, the last cheap fixes were ditched a couple of months ago now.
Without knowing what tariff you are currently on, no-one can say if it's a good deal or not.
