Anyway, the upshot is that it got me thinking again, and I'm going to blitz ebay with a few bits to get us a 'whim spending' account in paypal. Okay, maybe not the most sensible way to spend the ebay money, but if it lifts the spirits enough to keep us on the DFW path, it's important.

Have you told him this? He might have just being whinging without wanting anything to change...

Gosh, yesterday must have been one of those days! OH was in a mood all day and finally told me in the evening he was fed up of never having any money to treat ourselves on a whim with.

I think it's the January blues. It's been a really really long month for most of us. Particularly as most people have had to tighten their belts post Christmas and wouldn't have made as much progress as we'd all like.

The good news is that the shortest month of 'em all is next! Look out debts the debt assassins are coming to get'cha!!

Good luck everyone, we're getting there!! :j

    Hiya

Yes, I think you're right on that one. I mentioned it to him last night and He was pretty unbothered which p'd me off a bit after trying to cheer him up. But, I figured that if it doesn't get spent on 'whims' it can go into the maternity fund. If it's not needed there, we have plenty of debt to chip away at so it can be a bonus push there instead

I've been meaning to ebay some bits for ages but just never seem to get round to it. Last night gave me th puch I needed, so I'm going to strike while the iron's hot, as it were.
