well kerri-dfw iIfancy him but sshhhhh wouldnt like him to know that, its friends for just now, Im enjoying the single life, standing on my own two feet, he has a rough road ahead of him with potentially maybe having to go Bankrupt or a very very long DMP think BR is his way to go, its clean break with debt gone and in his case 36 months IPA then thats it so by mid 2015 he would potentially be debt free, discharged from his IPA and a fresh start for him and me and the putty cat...
Also he could be getting made redundant by the end of the year, wont know till mid December, but if he is then he has a potential ecellent redundancy package that could pay off £40k of his £56k debt and then he wouldnt have to go BR, so next few weeks and Xmas and New Year hes not sure what way to go but once he knows his fate jobwise we can plan from there till then its living as if he is on a BR budget and he sure as hell is fighting against it but will cooperate Im sure..
Im happy in my two bed cottage down a road in suburb of Faceless Town, there is furore down here that they have regenerated a local town, big fanfare and blurb about local shops for local folk then they announce a large Tecso is to be allowed a mile up the road, they might as well have not bothered with the regeneration programme, Tecso will just take over with lower prices and local shops will have no chance, specially as they have stopped the local traffic through main shopping thoroughfare and new Tecso has loads of free car parking which the town hasnt...stupid planning decisions there I think.
OhNos sprawled out in front of the fire, purrring and twitching he wasnt impressed with my attempt at cheaper cat food so gave him some of my chicken and we are friends again.
Mal is snoozing too, thinks he is getting away without washing the dishes, its his turn so he can do them before he goes home..
Pub job was a nightmare earlier today, the toilets were awful still couple bottles of bleach and me rubber gloves returned them to there pristine condition, the things we have to do to earn an honest pound..plus I found a 50p so Im 50p up thats gone in my found money tin.
Enjoyed a cottage pie made with some reduced price mince and onions, and bought a sack of potatoes this afternoon, so made some mash from them and they were pretty decent so looks like potatoes will feature a lot in the meals menu next few weeks.
Am of for a shower once Mals gone home and will have an early night as I have an early start in the morning.
Sogood night from 2 full of food folk and one sleepy putty cat

Brrrr no wonder OhNo shot back in through the catflap its persishing cold out there, was woken up by that MAHOOSIVE bloody cockrel cockadoodling away,:eek: bleedin heck, maybe OhNo had the foresight to know what was coming, but hey its a crackin alarm clock, two minutes of that high pitched cockadoodling and you get out of bed even if its only to strangle the bloody thing , sent it a bleedin shurrup look out through the kitchen window:D but I also pretended I was in the depths of the country and made myself some porridge so all is well in Faceless Town suburb this morning at the moment.
Mister Moaner Mals coming round at 9am, jeez its only 7.36 am might just have a snooze for a bit, have done my small factory job this morning and am off to my pub job one at 9am whilst Mister M is walloping my bedroom chimney breast wall with second coat of paint:T.
Oue pub Landlord said myself and other cleaner can keep any coin money finds up to £2 coins but must hand in paper notes, thought yes Mister Miser what about the piles of coins me and fellow cleaning op have handed in over the last few weeks, bet he does a swoop round the floors after customers have gone for the night, this is the man we suspect of watering down our bleach, so we use twice as much he might get the message soon enough. Me and Nutty Norah the other cleaner do a brill job, those toilets, gleam, pristine we are undaunted by the Faceless Town youth marauding all over our porcelain we kick open them loo doors and attack, its an adventure ooops better shurrup its basic bog cleaning on a grand scale well gotta make the job sound great or else we would despair and hang up our rubber gloves.
Right am off to have a crafty 45 min snooze see you all laters, wonder if OhNo is behaving himself???:p

Have had a deep thoughtful day today, after reading a young mans post on the BR board and answering it I went into local large town and just sat and watched the world go by through a cafe window and a Big Issue seller caught my eye.
People were just walking past him, some even shouldering him out the way, he was just trying to earn an honest penny I suppose, maybe homeless or some such bad luck had blighted his life and here he was selling his Big Issue magazines and making a small profit to help himself.
I went over and bought a copy and he apologised for it costing £2 but he said it was there Xmas issue, and then I asked would he like a hot drink and something to eat and after a lot of please do come with mes and have something he came, we went to a local cafe and we were asked to leave....then to another one and he was told to get out...when I challenged why they were asking him to leave the man said have you seen the state of him would you sit by that, I replied yes actually I am with this gentleman can we sit in here but we were told to get out.
Young lad took me round the corner to the Salvation Army place, where we were welcomed and given some soup and rolls a cuppa and a cheery welcome.
After a long talk with him he went back to his selling his Big Issues and I got talking to the local Salvation Army person and was asking what do the local homeless do over Xmas and New Year?
They go there, its open all over Xmas weekend and New Year time, and they were looking for volunteers, so Ive volunteeered to help and they said to pop in on Wednesday evening when theres a meeting etc..
I was/am a nurse in my previous life, just over 18 months ago I was pounding the wards in a large provincial hospital in Southern Ireland dealing with children with birth defects and adults too, my life was rosy glass tinted, never in a million years would I have guessed that under two years later on Id be in the position I was a few months back, a DV survivor for I will never consider myself a victim, homeless, in a new country and a completely different life to my old one.
So today I was reminded how life can just change in the twinkling of an eye, that the next time I feel down I need to just remember what bieng down really really means, that young man taught me a valuable lesson today, that we should never just pass someone less fortunate than ourselves by because if I had been passed by I dont think Id have been around to write on my diary, sorry if my ramblings are slightly confusing or muddled but Im in a deep thoughtful mood tonight, and Im ok, just so grateful for the few goood things in my life right now..right enough of my warblings and some gossip about the putty
OhNo the cat who thinks he can best next doors rooster had to be rescued by the neighbour as the 3 lady hens and MAHOOSIVE the cockrel had cornered said putty cat in the hen run and were going in for the duffing up of said cat when neighbour rescued him, so one very sorry for itself cat is sitting in his basket hatching up plan number 508 on how to get his own back but it is only in his head as I went !!!! a doodle doo as joke and he fled under the bed oops so think he has finally gotten the message so he hopefully will stay away from them now.
Mal has finished the painting of the chimney breast in my bedroom and is now tucking in to Lasagne and garlic bread and half a lager with feet up watching the TV..
So from one deeply thoughtful old bird, one well fed old blokey and a putty cat thats been put in his place have a pleasant warm quiet evening and will be posting again soon.
Night all
