:D:DMorning its 5.25am and yet again Im sitting here on the sofa unable to sleep, feeling restless, nervy with that feeling that somethings about to happen, dont know why I feel this way as my life compared to a few months ago is going really well.

Maybe some of you know of me from previous posts but pottted quick history.....

Came to England from Southern Ireland, in plaster with broken wrist, collar bone and nose and ribs the list went on...domestic violence and received help from DV charity who helped me get a tenancy in a cottage in Faceless Town in the Midlands.... they do say that what goes round comes round, the ex OH saved me getting a divorce as he had a massive stroke and passed away, went to the funeral just to make sure to myself the person who had made my life Hell had finally gone and yep he had so life is much much more bearable now.

I now live a fairly quiet skint lifestyle in a wee 2 bedroomed cottage with a garden and with my cat, who was known as OhNo as when I first had him all I seemed to say at him was OhNo, hes my pal and shoulder who listens in the wee small hours.

From no job to 3 jobs, all small cleaning jobs local pub and small business units up the road, regular small income but no more signing on at Jobcentre but still get some help with my rent and council tax...very nice feeling to be employed.

I have bought myself a trusty rusty bucket aka known as a car, this has opened up my life a bit and means Im can get to the larger towns for shopping bargains.

Have teamed up with my old pal Mal, debt ridden person that he is, who thought ex wife had been paying the bills, she wasnt, met a new lady love (not me) who helped rack the debts up further so this diary is mine/our/scribblings of how we tackle his £56k:eek::eek::eek::eek: and my £100 yes thats one hundred pound debt, talk about little and LARGE, what a combination...

So at the moment Im struggling to put his SOA together, trying to see if BR is his best bet to Debt freedom and trying to make him see that his car has to go before HP company wants it back...and my day to day fight to live frugally, save:p some money, and live, all achievable.

So this is post numero uno of my life as it is this morning so todays challenges..

Breathe deeply, and just get on with it I suppose, oops clanking metallic noise in the kitchen OhNo is awake and nosing his stainless steel cat bowl against the wall, think thats a noisy hint to feed him, now a cats head round the door frame with glint in the eye saying I can open the fridge door you know, yeah putty cat just try it, suppose Id better go and feed the spoilt putty cat...

Promise future posts wont be so long and rambling, then maybe lol

Have a good DFW day all

Janey and Mal that lives round the corner and one distinctley out of sorts hungry cat...xx:D

  • Me again, cat is fed, now pushing fat backside (the cats not mine) through the catflap and off to his morning yowl on top of the neighbours shed:rotfl:

Wednesday and Sunday are my free days off, so whats a gal to do today, tidy up?do the ironing? must just go open the upstairs windows to air the bedroom have had dampish looking patches appear on chimney breast wall, they have gone so will monitor them when it pours down again and see where the problem is.

Think a baking batch morning will be done, need to do my meal plan for the next few days and list freezer contents.

Breakfast is porridge and a glass of OJ, cats back in, sure is giving that catflap some welly think hes bored too, might get his catnip mouse out and ehm torment ehmm mean amuse him later on.

    Am deffo away now byeee

  • well another quiet day in Faceless Town, cant believe how early it gets dark, been an uneventful lazy day.

Had homemade soup for lunch and a 30p reduced price Warldorf Salad Kit in from Asda for tea, yum tasted good as it was so cheapo:D and picked up a large container of melon bits for 40p so all in all a nice meal, the cat is sitting sulking in the corner as he has ripped his toy catnip mouse to pieces,,,,

I have painted the chimney wall in my bedroom with damp paint stuff hope that stops the stain from leaking through the paint.

Finally caught the bin men today to empty gardening waste bins, it has taken a rather heavy worded call to the council to have these emptied, and they promised they will be emptied every two weeks we shall see.

Right am off to finish knitting my scarf , its for a Xmas pressie, damn cats now swinging of my best trousers on the clothes airer just threw a ball of wool at him which he is chasing over the lounge floor now, dont know who is more puddled me or the cat, think hed like to sink his claws into me by the look Im getting:D daft thing.

Good night all will make this diary more interesting soon as we battle the £56k mountain of debt, the mans head is out the sand, looks stunned just needed to whip him into shape now and become a non spending MSE convert to be.

Janey, one huffy cat and one man newly aware of just what a mess he is in financially, what a combination :rotfl::rotfl:

  • Evening,

Well Im sitting under my nice warm fleece blanket with the heating OFF and mardy man and spoilt cat are sitting on the couch muttering moaning and meowwwing that its cold is it heck the temp is 20 on the temp thingey, pair of softies, not my fault they dont like fleece blankets:p

OhNo the cat is living life on the edge, next door has just got 3 chickens, and hes been prowling along the boundary wall looking and smacking his lips, so he took a dive and was pecked scratched and duffed up by the 3 lady hens and the BIG MAHOOSIVE cockrel, OhNo
came slinking in the catflap with a couple of pecks and a few feathers, hes ok and hopefully he has gotten the message, cockrels and cats do not mix too well, me and the neighbour have been hooting with laughter at OhNO who just sat there throwing us huffed dirty looks, blinkin cat.

Mals been doing a moaning trip through old bank statements:eek::eek: with lots of cuffss and wuffs about the ex wife she passed away a while back, maybe just as well as she sure could spend:eek:then he has me who doesnt like spending one penny unless I really have too, hes under orders to get the papers in order cause Im hovering with calculator and pen in hand to add it all up..

Scoffed a huge bowl of chilli con carne and rice, yum and the little bit of chilli left is going on his jacket pot for work tommorow and mine too.

Faceless Towns jobless numbers went down 126 this quarter, I was of those that got a job:T well three actually, cleaning for a friend who has set up her own cleaning company, keeps me out of mischief..

Oops the cats just launched himself at a fly, missed it and crashed into the wastepaper basket,:mad::mad::mad:oh dearie me and moaner Mal has just stubbed his toe on the chair corner now hes in full whinge,
Went shopping with my money no object friend to Tecso, was a revelation looking at the prices:eek:and in folks trollies, is there really a credit crunch going on, as they were piling them trollies high with processed junk and flashing the Visa cards, my little basket of reduced things and 3 tomatoes, 2oz of cheese and 3 slices of Honey Roast Ham looked minute compared to there spends:rotfl::T but thats how I want my debt...minute, miniscule, small, non existant if possible.

Okies thats it for a while, Moaner M is busy hugging his big toe and the cats decided hes gonna give him some sympathy and is sitting next to him purring in sympathy, bloody traitor that cat:pis wait till its Whiskas or cheapo mucko cat food we shall see where the loyalty lies then .

pleasant evening all, till tommorows escapades hugs from

a male moan machine, a cat that cant decide where his loyalties lie and one nice warm Janey byeees xx

Well slowly got out of bed at 5.30am and wanted to dive straight back under the duvet, but heyho that wont pay the leccie bill...and walked to my first cleaning job of the day a local factory I just do the small office, toilets and genral bin emptying etc.

I enjoy this little job as they are incredibly tidy and share there tea/coffee and biccies and we all have a chat before there shifts start each morning..well this morning the boss summoned me intothe office to have a word..eeek....hecky thump I thought here we go the sack...doom and gloom so went in..

The factory is closing down for the Xmas hols on Thursday 23rd Dec 2011 and reopening on Tuesday 3rd Jan 2012 yippee 10 days off and Im getting paid too...and some extra work,

Factory is a small one 12 employees plus moi, the owner works hard and his wife too but she had a baby 5 months ago and he has asked me if Id be interested in a couple nights babysitting over Xmas and New Year and a days work per week helping his wife keeping there house tidy , just polishing and ironing and general stuff and on a Wednesday too one of my days off, ofcourse said yes straight away , this might mean I can start saving a little now...good start to today, then went on to scoff there choccie biscuits and make the loo gleaming:D

Moanin Mal went home last night limping with his sore toe that he stubbed and he went out with a flea in his ear, no not one of OhNos cat fleas but a verbal one when I found out what he was spending on work lunches and cakes and other "little" expenses well his Debt Free pain begins Monday as he is using the bus for a while and taking a packed lunch and his own tea coffee etc, why pay £1.25 for a frothy latte when its there in front of him,,I have a spy in his office :D who will ring me and let me know and I shall ring him up and say " oi mister what happened to the I will make my own drinks thing"...

He wants a relationship, well we shall see, I went through enough in my last marriage, and Im enjoying the single life at the moment, I wafted the when your less debt free and more financially secure thought past him so shall see if my lovley selfs company has any effect, but he has to face his debt and get help I can help only so much.

OhNo cat from hell left a dead mousey in the hallway by the catflap when I came in, my pressie for today, looks like hes had another tussle with the cockrel, so he will learn..but is fighting fit cause hes scoffed all his food and is purring nicely by the fire,

Right had better get off to cleaning job number two local pub wonder what delights there will be on the floor this morning, maybe a pound coin:D who knows till laters folkies have a good morning.

One well fed cat keeping warm by the fire, and one energetic Janey off to work we go hi ho its off to work we go, the cats just went meowwwwl yowl, dont think he rates my singing, got no taste that putty cat....J
