tor is darn slow - I still dont think it would protect from a local keylogger on the host ?
Hotspot + VPN would do it.
Most banks have a system where you'd select letters from dropdowns for your password , so its less of a problem , but in short , I wouldn't personally use a web cafe for that kind of browsing anyway.0 -

It certainly wouldn't help if there was a keylogger. But it was the only secure flash based browser I could think of which as you say doesn't help if there's a security problem at the pc itself.but in short , I wouldn't personally use a web cafe for that kind of browsing anyway.
Quite agree, I personally would put any of my personal information on a computer or through an access point that I wasn't completely confident in, which is pretty much every computer/access point other than the ones I own."She is quite the oddball. Torpark looks interesting. Meanwhile there does not seem to be a solution. It would help if some of the big email providors eg Yahoo would offer banking-style logins then.0
