in Credit cards
Hi.
I took an item back to Wickes 3 weeks ago, 3 days after purchasing it.
They refunded the value of the goods back onto my credit card. I have both the purchase and refund receipt, and it all looks fine and successfully processed etc.
My credit card statement shows the purchase, but there is no evidence of the refund. 3 weeks have now passed.
I need to know whether I should be chasing this with the retailer (Wickes), or with the credit card company.
The purchase and subsequent refund were made on my Egg Card (now transferred to Barclaycard, since they bought out the company).
Any idea where I should focus my efforts? Retailer, or card provider?
Thanks.
SC.

Check with the card provider first, and if no mention of the refund, then the retailer. Although I think the later will be fruitless as they are likely to just say something like "We've refunded the card, nothing else we can do.".0
