How far back can you claim?

Just wondering if anyone can help?
I was missold PPI around 8 years ago (as a supply teacher, I wasn't eligible) and paid for around 2 years. My last payment was in Jan 06 - nearly 6 years ago. I still have some of my statements from 2005. Can you reclaim PPI from over 6 years ago?

Hi there & welcome

And yes you can make a reclaim complaint, many have been successful even from accounts from the 90's etc.

When you do make a reclaim, make them aware you recently became aware of the PPI mis selling and that you believe it applies to you.

As long as you have the account number you can continue to make a reclaim with the reasons you have by completing a reclaim questionnaire as shown on step 3 below link, send to the head office or complaints dept of whoever set up and sold you the account.
Save copies for yourself as well.
