Ditto Kerri- I wont even tell you what my husband earns but hey, my debts not his and I earn next to nothing lol
I think shopaholica is a *proper* addiction, I'm a bit addicty anyway- smoker, drinker, serial baby producer LOL. I have literally two boxes of body shop stuff in my wardrobe, shelves groaning with half used cosmetics. Maybe we should set up a swap shop for this thread? Fuel our decluttering, money saving and need for new things- we could make a fb page?Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.

My OH is a student yet spends £40 a week on grocery shopping for himself... how he manages it I have no idea as he's veggie so no expensive meat. Then when he stays he spends even more on shopping for us, which I pay for oops.
idris... that body shop stuff needs to get onto the fleabay pronto, do a quick search to check if it'll sell (search for completed listings), it'll make great chrimbo for other people that'll pay you for it and free up spaceDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

I have been really brooding on the whole spending/debt thing this week, and I've got myself quite down tbh. I am definitely a shopaholicI have so much stuff, clothes, DVDs, games, CDs:( it all stems from..... when I met my husband I was a single mum in a council flat on income support with NO disposable income at all so I have been like a kid in a sweet shop since I was able to buy things
I could have written this too. You aren't alone. :grouphug: (that's a group hug, the nearest I could find :rotfl:)Long haul supporter #290POAYDBX2014 #043LBM Dec 2011 Debt £51K Debt Nov 2014 £42K0 -
I've just seen the beeb's article on living on £40k and thought "what the?" a new car every other year... seriously? With media like that how can they not expect people to spend, spend, spend.

I'd love to know how they manage to have a new car every two years, a £300K house and 3 package holidays a year on £40k? Maybe one day, when our debts are cleared and we have loads of spare cash a month........we'll have two caravan holidays to France a year.....the height of decedence! :rotfl:Long haul supporter #290POAYDBX2014 #043LBM Dec 2011 Debt £51K Debt Nov 2014 £42K0 -
