problem with barclaycard ,advice wanted please

I have now got two Barclay card accounts, one a visa platinum that I have had over 10 years and the other one which is MasterCard that was egg ,recently been swithced to Barclay card .

This is what I think has happened,now ber with me and I will try and explain all , My egg money card is my account same with platinum card is my account .The MasterCard that was egg has my mother as a named card holder ie I am responsible for it .

On the day of the transfer i logged on to Barclay card hoping to access both cards but I needed to log in separately, this i did not like so I called barclaycard up and asked them to merge the accounts so that i could access both under the same log on .They said it should of been merged already but apologised and said it would take up to two weeks.
So today I logged on to see if it had been merged yet. So i logged on to my platinum visa card and not only was it not merged but it said welcome mrs xcxxxxx xxxxx which is my mother and not me . remember this is my account and my mother has no access to it nor is she a named card holder ,but she is on the master card account .

I think i can see what has happened somewhere along the line maybe when merging my accounts they mixed something up .So I rang to complain and to speak to a manager ,They asked me to clear security first ,then the women asked to speak to the main card holder which I responded is me and this is what my complaint will be about .I got to speak to a a manger not UK based and failed security as my date of birth is now my mothers on there .I was very angry .my mother is a Barclay card customer with her own platinum account totally separate card and number .Now my account has my email my mobile number and my five pound credit on it from when i went paperless .

I gave them my mother to speak to ,lucky she lives here ,they offered to send out forms for her to fill in so i could access MY account ,which seee said no ,then i spoke to them again and they offered to put me through to applications so i could apply again .well i was having none of it and told them I was disgusted with how they have used my data and that i want this sorted out asap .they will ring me back in 48 hours .

This is disgraceful frustrating and stressful .

First off i just wanted to share my bad experience and also apologise as typing is not my strong point .

Secondly any advice on how I should handle this if they do not get back to me as they are both my accounts and have always been . The MasterCard has my mother down as named card holder so that she could help me earn points as i thought this was a good idea but they are both my accounts and it is the visa platinum card that is wrong anyway .second thoughts I am now wondering if her master card will work now as they may have messed this up as well .

Anyway any advice on what i should do if they mess me aboutfurther .

    Put your complaint in writing to them. I will never contact a call centre. If you put your complaint in writing, it will more than likely be dealt with by someone who knows what they are doing, rather than a foreigner on the phone.
