Which Lights to bury in Tarmac Drive?

Hi
Need some help please. I want to put 3-4 lights buried into the middle of my tarmace drive so when reverse down my drive (badly!) I can see. I won't actually be driving over them as they will be in the middle, and my drive isn't wide enough to 'accidently' drive over them either. I may be walking over them though at some point though, so the do need to be 'walk-over-able' (is that a word?).
Ideally these need to be 12v which will make things easier.
Can anyone recommend the best lights for me please?
Thanks

Try http://allweatherlighting.co.uk/inground.htm this will give you an idea of what you can have along with the prices.0

You could pop into your local branch of Edmundsons, Newey & Eyre, WF or City Electrical- all wholesalers and see what they can do?0

Why not just install some PIR security lighting, these detect movement and come on for a set time, thus illuminating your driveway. Seems a long winded way lighting the drive how you want to, lots of hassle, digging a trench to bury the cables, installing and wiring the fitting, then making good the driveway. Also a common problem with recessed driveway lights is that they condensate and corrode internally usually a lot faster than a wall fixed light fitting.0

Id personally use these, http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat/pro.jsp?id=15498&ts=32504 a reputable electrician could explain how to install an FCU holding a 3A fuse to supply the four lights, hopefully wired using SWA cable. You would have to dig out a channel for the cable run, fill with sand, then gravel, then coldlay tarmac to fill in your channels.0

seem to remember seeing flush mounting solar powered led lamps so no wiring. Not going to be very bright but certainly good enough to give you a reversing target

Nobleck - Yes, it would probably be easier to do a PIR light, but I saw these on someones drive and they looked fab! My expensive taste is costing me a small fortune!
Luckily, I know someone who can fit them for me, so I just need to find some I like - short of knocking on the front doorof the house drive and I saw them on and saying "Excuse me, where did you get your lights from?" I had no idea where to look.
Thanks everyone, will have a look in Screwfix.0 -
No idea which lights but I must say this sounds a brilliant idea (no pun intended) ... kinda like a runway :-)0

Just wish I had a private jet to go with my runway then!

When installing the lights its a good idea to run some ducting undeneath the driveway especially if its new.
This enables you to reqire/add new lights without having to ripp up your new drive!!0
