Bathroom accessories

Hi,
Not sure if posted in right place but just wondering where I can get some traditional/classic quality bathroom accessories?
I quite like these from homebase, but think £55 for a towel ring & toilet roll holder is a bit steep(??):
http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=110&storeId=10151&partNumber=677715
http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=110&storeId=10151&partNumber=672038
The fittings in B & Q looked a bit cheap, and had no joy on ebay either.
Am after usual fittings, glass shelf, mirror, towel rail etc. Any recommedations? Thanks!

Nice shiny chrome fittings cost unfortunately. Keep an eye out for building projects and/or refurbs in your area might get someone throwing out something useable (ditto local recycling centre). Reclamation yard or keep googling........0

Thanks, have been looking out for a while. Would I be mad to pay those prices? Thanks0 -
Yes - cos its cheap Chinese tat in reality and all you are doing is contributing to the shed's overinflated margins in the first instance.

Hi, hope the link I'm posting will work! Its not identical and thinner than the one you like but it's only £6.20!

I think you should wait for the sales....I bought my bathroom accessories in Homebase & paid peanuts for it (Chrome). Wait until they discontinue a range....? Won't be long, I'm sure0

Have just bought these and we are extremely pleased - look more expensive than they actually are.

Thanks everyone - am after really traditional though i'm afraid, not the modern types.
Please let me know if you see anymore, thanks :-)0 -
If you have been looking for a while Aldi get some nice bathroom stuff in but don't have at present. I know cos when I looked it was too traditional for me but nice.
I have also seen stuff in the range.
And yes £30 is too much for a towel ring (IMHO) but that is entirely up to you. I would rather spend the money on nice towels.:)De cluttering Konvert.Getting there

Call into a few independent bathroom showrooms and find out when they are changing their displays. It is worth waiting for good quality ones, I just picked up some amazing Crosswater fittings for a third of the price.0
