I saw a snowball gift set earlier and it started a craving, not had one for many many years (as a kid I was always allowed one at Christmas lol). I thought I'd get myself a bottle of Advocat and make a snowball for my daughter and I. Hopefully tomorrow then0 -

Watch the advocaat prices. I was buying the Tesco own brand at around £5.50 a bottle, then about 6 weeks ago I went to buy a new bottle and it was as dear as warninks at over £12 a bottle. I even asked at customer services and was told the £12+ was the correct price and I was mistaken if I thought i had been paying half that price previously.
However 2 weeks ago the Tesco own brand dropped back down to around £5.50 again- hurrah!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I like the Lidl diet lemonade - 2 litres for 18p, don't know about the sugar/aspartame though (I'm afraid I don't study labels any more).0

I've got a bottle of the diet Tescos cloudly lemonade sat next to me and it doesn't have any aspartame in, just sucralose.£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January0

Another vote for the Sainsburys one, we don't like aspartamine and I usually stock up when I shop there!

Actually a good move. Aspartame reactions have been shown in most properly conducted studies to be down to the nocebo effect. Your trick should prevent ill effects in most, but unfortunately not all, sufferers.
