Paid argos card in error saga

I know it was a silly thing to do - I paid rather a lot of money into my Argos card which I do not often use, by mistake. I did this using internet banking when I was in a rush, although I was sure I double checked who the money was going to.

The lesson to be learned here is - I paid the money in on 11th October and today on 15th November, my money is apparently in a queue to be repaid!

They will not consider paying your money back until 14 days have passed. Then you have to contact them and they tell you it will be another 10 days until you receive a cheque.

I had not received a cheque so phoned again, having already chased up many times previous. I was told that after I phoned it had taken another 4 days for the cheque request to be put on the system. I phoned again after allowing 10 days after the 4 days - to be told there had been some sort of error and a cheque had not been sent out. I was then told they would pay it directly into my bank account. [Something they originally told me it was impossible to do]. As it was late on Friday they said this would be done on Monday. Its now Tuesday so I thought I would check how things were going - now I am told it will be done tomorrow!
The problem with tomorrow - especially in the case of Argos Card - "tomorrow never comes"!

nothings gone right,give them till tomorrow the tele their head office and speak to someone higher up the food chain and demand immediate action(nicely)

Ring them up tomorrow and ask to log an official complaint, they'll most likely setup the refund the same day the complaint is processed. If not, follow it up with a written complaint.
