Recommended plumbers/bathroom fitters (south Lincs/Peterborough)?

We're planning on revamping our lovely pink bathroom (thanks to the previous owners for that one!), and was wondering if anyone could recommend any plumbers/bathroom fitters in the Bourne (south Lincs)/Peterborough area?

Many thanks

Dave

Don't use discount bathrooms and kitchens located in Lincoln Road Peterborough, they do good prices but their work is awfull.

Thanks. Always good to know which are the dodgy ones.

I'm hoping to find someone that can fit rather than supply, as we already have our eye on a bathroom suite in the sales.

The forementioned company fit as well, so steer clear, i had a very nasty experience with these guys ,when they fitted my bathroom, a year later through bad plumbimg i had to have my kitchen refitted because 2 pipes burst and the ceiling came down.
  • Sorry to hear that Nobleck.

    Anyone else have any recommendations?

    Thanks

  • do it yourself maybe?? i did mine last year. never done it before, but put my mind to it and fitted new toilet, sink and bath, plus tiled whole thing as well. the finish is great, but whats even better is knowing i did it myself.

I could do it myself, the lighting and shower I probably will. But I know the rest would take me ages to do as I would want to get it right and I've never done tiling before. Unfortunately I can't wait several weeks without a working bathroom ;)

If you are doing electrics in the bathroom, Part P of the building regulations applies. A bathroom is a special location and work is notifiable:

Part P isn't required if it is just swapping the existing items for new ones.
However it is advisable to use a qualified Electrician to do the wiring.
