Today was another spendy day :(. I spent £1.11 in work on tea and toast and 89p in T*sco on some invitations. OH has taken DS1 climbing with money for three lessons £30, his birthday pressie (was actually £45 not £35 a i thought) and the deposit for party £60.

DS2 came home from nursery today poorly. His temp was going up so i got the calpol out. one spoon later and just before second spoon went in mouth he was sick. Everywhere. All over blanket, himself, sofa and me. this happened about 30 seconds after OH left the house  (he normally deals with sick)
DS2 is now sleeping. Hopefully he will feel better soon.

Payed Argos card £273.57, so that's one debt down :j and 9 more to go

OH rang Halifax to close account that has been sitting there empty for 6 months and they offered him 0% for nine months. So transferred the remaining balance of OH Barclaycard of £1930 over.

so in order of date they will be paid off
    1. Student Loan ~ £163 approx ~ payed June 12
    2. OH Very ~ £399.00 ~ payed in Aug 12
    3. Overdraft ~ payed in September 12
    4. My Very ~ £189.00 ~ payed October 12
    5. Halifax ~ £1987.90 ~ min payments while building up savings. will then be cleared in Feb 13
    6. My Barclaycard ~ £2292.00 ~ as above cleared in April 13
    7. OH Creation ~ £5095.00 ~ as above cleared by Sep 13
    8. My Creation ~ £1726.00 ~ as above cleared Sep 13

Hi Teatime - really please that Argos is gone.

DS2 is much better now. He was quite poorly all Friday night and had a heck of a temp all day Saturday. He slept most of the day
Sunday however he woke up completely normal and his usual hyper self.

Saturday was a NSD. I attempted to go to Mr A at about 9pm but car wouldn't start

OH thought it might be battery, so BIL came over on Sun to try and jump start it and thought i would need to get new battery.
Turns out it was not the battery.
It took BIL about an hour and a half of jiggery pokery to get it working, getting a face full of fuel at one point.
He thinks that maybe the fuel filter might be clogged???
So will take car in for a service on thursday. Will prob be about £100 :(

Did shop in Mr T  sunday as BIL was going there and he stayed to make sure the car would start when i left.

Today was a spendy day also as took the boys to a pirate and princess day. Cost £11 to get in and spent £4.60 there. (60p on two cupcakes for kids. I was good and didn't have one :T, £1 on raffle ticket, and £3 to DS1 to spend in gift shop)
Took lunch with us and had a nice picnic in the fairytale village and kids burnt of some energy.

    Shattered now though.
Off to read some diaries and then going to bed.
  • Hi Charlyze, I've just read through your diary and wanted to say well done on reducing your debts by the amount you have so far. I've got boys the same sort of ages as your 2 (7 & 2) and I know its not easy while trying to entertain them at the same time.

I'm also doing slimming world so I can appreciate the double victory in neither paying for a cupcake for yourself or eating one :rotfl:.
    Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
