I got the Barclaycard "22 mths 0%, 2.9% fee, £40 refund" - it was fast

Hi everyone

I hope this is useful to somebody! I got this card recently. Applied and it came in the post 2 days later.

I got a the rebate on my balance transfer fees (that is, making them equivalent to 2.9% instead of the normal 3.2%) 2 days after the fees themselves.


.. furthermore, Barclaycard don't make these clear on the T&Cs, but:

• the £3,000 lower limit for the above does NOT have to be in one transaction - I did two.
• The £40 cashback appears "28 working days" after the above balance transfers went through.

That's it - I wish I'd known this as it would've saved a phone call!

I just checked my first statement online and I've only got a rebate of £9.
I did two balance transfers, combined amount of £3001, confirmed twice with the operator that it would be eligible.
Swizz.
Will have to phone to argue.
